As LNTG said himself, there've been countless re-edits and reworks of this classic. However, to stand out of the crowd these days whatever the edit, you have to bring something a little bit different to the table. A good edit should improve the track without taking away from the beauty of the original itself. An absolute hallmark of LNTG's work is his ability to pick a track and smother his style all over it. This Chic remake is no different, he's taken a good song and made it club friendly, check out the video yourself to see how it went down when he played it for us. Absolutely blew the roof off when it dropped. BANGER all round.

Fat Larry's Band ¦ Act Just Like (Alan's Disco Re-Edit)

The Free DL this week comes in the form of Q&D's latest resident and all round maverick, Alan Mooney. Alan's been producing for over 2 years now but has finally found his feet as far as the direction of his musical production is headed. His re-edit of Fat Larry's Band shows the talent he has and also the eye for re-editing the right records without taking away from them, a key ingredient these days to having a successful re-editing career.

Catch Alan playing at one of the upcoming Q&D events, or in Dublin where he'll be playing at the Twisted Pepper alongside a few other head-the-balls from Derry.

Teddy Pendergrass - You Can't Hide From Yourself (Dimitri From Paris Super Disco Blend)

This boogie cut from Dmitri From Paris is as infectious a tune you'll hear anywhere. The 8-odd minute number will have any floor on it's feet for sure. 

Drop Out Orchestra

I've been keeping tabs on Drop Out Orchestra for a fair while now, and it seems as though their hard graft may be paying off after all these years of doing re-mixes and the like with no real recognition. They are currently subject to a lot of radio play on stations like BBC 6 music due to their recent re-edit of Daft Punk's Get Lucky. It's being heralded as the best edit about at the minute, and that's no mean feat. Without taking too much away from the track, they still manage to leave their own footprint with the addition of violins and synths at equally telling points within the track.

This is another one of my favourite tracks of theirs...

This for me is a huge track, typically upbeat and housey from San Soda's original, this version adds more of a kick and a club feel.

Stretch ¦ Why Did You Do It (Disco Syndicate mix)

Why did you do it? Would surely be the question Stretch is asking when he hears this version. Disco Syndicate clearly hasn't a clue on how to remix.

We Love... Dicky Trisco Mix

"We Love..." noted that dicky bleeds glitter ball, I agree. He loves disco so much he puts PVC glue on his balls and sticks himself to speakers so that he never isn't at a disco. Mad man if you ask me.. This poddy is full of disco gems, re-edits and the like. Pwefuorl Sutff

Queen & Disco ¦ Slow Burners Mix

This is potentially the worst put together piece of music I've ever, put together.. Infact, it's pure pish. It's so slow it would drive you insane. Soul Clap wouldn't play this shit at their funeral, not because it's slow, but because none of the tracks are that good, the mixing is dire and the picture of a troll with his head in his hands can't even find a bridge to hide from it..
